Cleaning Room Supervisor
-Coordinate cleaning room functions including shake out, knock off, shot blast, grinding, initial inspection and proper storage of finished castings and supplies.
-Work with production control and shipping departments to ensure timely processing of castings required for shipments to avoid past due orders.
-Work with maintenance and production personnel to minimize downtime for mechanical or excessive finishing related issues.
-Ensure that proper safety and quality practices are being observed by department personnel.
-Train and schedule sufficient personnel to meet department schedules.
-Provide input to supervisor about the performance of cleaning room personnel.
-Assist with ordering raw materials and supplies.
-Collect and record pertinent data and enter in appropriate file or database.
-Notify supervisor of quality, mechanical, delay or personnel problems and take corrective action within scope of responsibility.
Work conditions: Production environment, dusty, noisy, large production equipment
Large income potential based on allotted overtime of 25-50%. - Up to 60 hours a week
