Job Description

This organization provides quality engineered environmental equipment and service solutions that solve complex air and water challenges for industrial applications and manufacturing industries. Manufacturing facilities and industrial sites are often faced with the challenge of balancing their environmental footprint with production demands and profitability. This organization is a full-service provider to help manufacturing companies of all types to face these challenges. They are currently looking for a Capital Equipment Project Manager with a strong customer facing personality in their Milwaukee, WI location.

The successful project manager will plan, organize, monitor, and control medium to large-sized capital equipment projects within a cross-functional organization. Monitoring and maintaining budgets, reviewing, and maintaining schedules, and interfacing with customers to ensure complete satisfaction, are important skills required for the position. A demonstrated ability in leading project teams consisting of degreed engineers, production personnel and field service staff is critical.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Reviews company proposals and customer specifications
- Coordinate efforts to produce engineering drawings with the subsequent submittal to customer and
sub-suppliers
- Organizes project review and engineering kick off meetings
- Assists in specifications creation of major buyout equipment.
- Evaluates sub-supplier proposals for completeness and specification compliance
- Reviews and approves fabrication drawings and purchase requisitions
- Generates regular reports on projects being managed
- Supports sales and other departments where necessary
- Coordinates and participates in customer project review and equipment inspection visits
- Be the main customer contact from sale through commissioning
