CVD or Metals Equipment Technician

Job Description
As a CVD Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for performing activities involved with the recovery of CVD tools from PM, including qualifications. Technicians will perform preventative maintenance on CVD equipment and recovery equipment faults. Daily equipment process and equipment trend monitoring will be required, as well as responding to interlocks in a timely manner. Documenting / communicating material from tool interruptions to the process team to ensure the material is measured and dispositioned correctly. The technician will interact with the Shift Supervisor in scheduling PMs, delivering ETAs for tool recovery, documenting and following standard operating procedures during PM execution is required. Perform with high energy with a focus on quality and detail is required. All technicians will participate in site compliance with all health, safety, and environmental management system guidelines.
CVD Equipment Technician job duties:
Perform scheduled maintenance following detailed SOP
Troubleshooting equipment failures
Monitor and respond to abnormal equipment signals
Work with senior personnel and engineers to perform troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance tasks
Correct and generate SOPs where required
Acquire and apply job skills and learn the company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks that are routine in nature
Follow established procedures while performing work that requires instructions on tasks
Work schedule
Shift A: Sunday through Tuesday, and alternating Wednesdays (days), 645am -715pm
Shift B: Sunday through Tuesday, and alternating Saturdays (nights), 645am? 715pm
Shift C: Thursday through Saturday, and alternating Wednesdays (days), 645am? 715pm
Shift D: Wednesday through Friday, alternating Saturday (nights), 645pm? 715am
As the Metal Ops Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the process and production of memory chips and logic. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Requires compliance with all health, safety, and environmental management system guidelines.
Metal Ops Equipment Technician Job duties:
Preventative Maintenance (PM)/Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance:
- Follows standard operating procedures to ensure equipment/ processes/systems are running effectively
Troubleshooting:
- Conducts failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures
Monitor equipment and process:
- Monitors equipment and processes in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes.
Teamwork and Communication: Able to work well in a team environment and effectively communicate throughout organization.
