Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager you will advise on and drive the implementation of agreed business development growth strategies and plans that reinforces, supports and drives the profitable development of sales in the Security global business. They need an established leader and communicator or someone experiences in business development to identify, qualify, develop and close new opportunities encompassing the entire sales process from business development and prospecting, developing and influencing solutions specifications through to contract negotiations and closing the business at contract signing.

You will need to show you can leverage the company's sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase market share. Build and expand business partner revenue and self-sufficiency. You will also need to forecast business, manage sales expenses to a budget, and make full use of the CRM reporting tools provided and develop and implement an effective business development plan, at times recommending process improvements.

You will need to show you can meet and exceed monthly sales targets utilizing channel partners, inside sales resources and sales engineers. You will drive end-user sales through the channel from lead generation to close, including product demonstrations and grow revenue through existing channels by developing and maintaining channel partner support and communication processes that enhance channel partner relationships in line with the global Security partners / distributor program. You will also need to continue to improve knowledge of Security products and services and confidence in the Security business through regular facilitation of dealer workshops in line with the global Security Product / Service Plan.

You will need to keep abreast of regional and global economic trends and advances in the IT and Security Sectors.

This position requires anywhere from 50 - 75% overnight travel, mostly regional. Some national, and some international (mainly New Zealand or South America) so you must live near a major airport in the SE, preferably Atlanta.
Security Systems Sales/BDM experience or someone with BTB sales experience
