Job Description
This client is an FAA repair station focused on providing component repair and overhaul services to the domestic and international aerospace industry. Their list of component repair customers includes many of the world's largest commercial airlines, regional airlines, commuter and corporate aircraft operators, and parts brokers.
They need to add Bench Techs to their growing team. The Electronics Bench Technician performs maintenance that includes inspection, testing, and the repair of aircraft avionic/electronic components in an avionics bench repair environment in accordance with approved manuals and methods. This position also performs repairs to the component level for example, transistor, resistor, capacitor, replacement.
Essential duties:
- Set up and operate electronics test equipment for troubleshooting, calibrating, and testing avionic articles
- Troubleshoot circuitry and circuit boards
- Replace individual components
- Test, repair, and overhaul various electronic components
