Automation Startup Technician
The company works with mostly Rockwell PLC systems. Any PLC experience is preferred, but not necessary. They will train you on these systems. The company is focused on electronic and electrical (chasing wires and reading diagrams), communication, and personal accountability. They will train you on the hard skills.
This is an hourly role that pays travel time. Transitioning military with no PLC experience can expect $50 - $60k base plus overtime. Your total 12-month income will be close to six figures with overtime. Candidates with PLC experience can expect base compensation of up to $75k. This means a total compensation of over $100k!
Hourly rate will be between $20 - $35/hr dependent on PLC and field service experience. Plenty of overtime and development.
