Area Production Manager

Our client is seeking Area Managers in Florida, Alabama, and Texas. If selected for one of these positions, you will attend a detailed training that introduces you all facets of the company, and trains you on how to become successful in each department. This program introduces participants to critical focus areas that are necessary to be a successful manager within the organization, regardless of division. You will receive fundamental training and practical experience in: Product Application, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Order Management, relationship development with the Local Business Partners, Sales and Operations Planning, and Employee Management.

Responsibilities:
- Be flexible and understanding with people. Not so military structured/rigid/formal
- Have a manufacturing background/experience
- Have a maintenance background/experience
- Leadership-successful background (military and/or civilian)
- Rotational work assignments within Lifecycle Services including several field based service assignments
- Develop working knowledge of their products
- Develop skills in Customer Service, Order Management, Sales Management, and Price and Quotation Management
- Build relationships with local business partners and functional organizations
- Learn sales and operation planning, employee management, and manufacturing best practices

Additional information:
Periodic travel is a requirement including traveling to internal and external sites across the United States.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university (or combination of military/experience)
- Strong business management interest, work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated excellent communications skills both verbal and written
