Job Description

This is a tremendous opportunity to step into a management position (Distribution Center Area Manager) with the supply chain operation that supports the largest retailer in the world. You will also have the very real potential to be promoted to Operations Manager within 12-18 months if you crush it at this position. On top of that, this is their largest facility and the "top performing DC" in the company in 2021. We have several candidates there, some of whom have been promoted and all of whom love working there.

Distribution Center Area Manager (not retail stores):

You will lead teams of anywhere from 15-30 to help achieve proper throughput and order fulfillment. This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of multiple departments. In this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned or as necessary.

Essential functions:

An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Communicate with individuals or groups verbally or in writing (such as customers, suppliers, associates)
- Maintain quality and safety standards in area of responsibility by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, standards and procedures
- Monitor associate compliance to policies and procedures, by distributing and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation
- Supervise and develop associates and leaders in their areas of responsibility; by assigning duties and coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and teaching, supporting and modeling

Base salary, company bonus that has a "target" of 16%, max of 20%. $5, 500 in annual stock. #1 performing facility in their company, so bonus is very real. Great relocation package.
