The Controls Engineer is the front-line engineering professional that is the supervisor of PLC and electrical changes to the plants equipment. The hiring manager is looking for someone with a strong electrical background that they can build on. You should have the ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics. Any AutoCad experience or exposure to ladder logic/PLCs is a huge plus but not necessary. Controls Engineers will update electrical prints/drawings to reflect changes made to the electrical systems of the equipment.
This is a Monday-Friday role working 230/245pm? Midnight. You will train on days until you are ready to work your shift. Even when on the 2nd shift, the team is only a call away and they can remote into the system to help you troubleshoot. This is a tight group.
Base salary, plus targeted $6K annual bonus, and full benefits. This is a three-person group looking for a fourth.
