In this role, you will learn to monitor, control and operate equipment in the nuclear energy industry. You will go through a thorough training pipeline to learn the specific processes, controls, and safety aspects of running the operation at this plant. Obviously, this role requires someone with the correct mindset as safety and SOPs will drive the success of the person. You should be someone who is level-headed, smart, and someone who wants to develop in their career.

In order to qualify for this role, you should be a former nuclear operator in the military. Any flavor of nuclear candidate (MM-ET-EM-ELT) are welcomed to apply. Candidates that have more experience in nuclear operations will be evaluated for possible increased compensation as your depth of experience and education will play a part in your overall offer.

The role does require a shift rotation but one of the best rotations we have seen! 2 days on, 1 day off, 2 nights on, 5 days off! So, you are only working 1 out every 2 weeks. With the schedule, overtime is available as well.

The training program lasts roughly 12-18 months and encompasses everything from the basics of operations to the very specific and critical systems that are used. As you qualify through the program, you will receive qualification bonuses that will amp up your overall compensation.
