Job Description

Our client started in Springfield, Oregon as a small firm installing concrete road and irrigation systems in 1939. They have made a name for themselves with major bridge replacement and rehabilitation, they work on a variety of large heavy civil construction projects while having an emphasis on transportation projects. Their true specialty is building with limited and difficult project access. They understand the importance of stakeholders and permit coordination and the complexities associated with working in high-traffic urban zones, populated recreational areas, sensitive natural habitats, short work windows, and remote project locations.

They are hands-on builders and self-perform much of the work they're contracted for. Their bonding capacity, equipment inventory, material resources, and value engineering gives them the ability to efficiently and effectively approach the most demanding jobs. They have four divisions and operate throughout the Western US. Their divisional organization allows their team to specialize their knowledge, resources, and equipment for varying project needs.

They are looking for Project Engineers who are interested in learning and growing in the construction industry. They are willing to groom and create builders and need candidates with the aptitude and willingness to learn. There is a high level of upward mobility as well.

After you gain experience as a project engineer, you will move into project management and continually higher roles within the organization while increasing compensation along the way.
