Job Description

In your role as an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of relays, starters, drives, and various control circuits, various pressure, temperature and level instruments. You will also need to have knowledge and hands on experience with 480 v/4160v switchgear, breakers, transformers, and motors. You will need to show you have a high degree of initiative and the ability to work alone and effectively with others. If you have any experience with control circuits using schematics and PLCs it will be beneficial, but they can teach this to you. You must have the ability to set up and use various instrument simulators and calibrators. You also must be able to pass a basic electrical test at your site visit.

On top of possessing a high degree of electrical aptitude they need people who are good cultural fits with strong communications and people skills, as you will work with other departments and their employees, so you must be a team player. You will also perform general housekeeping and clean up and must abide by all plant safety and work rules.

This is a Monday through Friday day shift role for 5 weeks and your hours are normally 5am start time working 10-hour days, so you have 2 hours of overtime built into your shift. After each 5 weeks on day shift you will be required to work one week on swing shift which is around 2pm to midnights. There is also plenty of OT available beyond the built in overtime.
They do have other shifts and you must be available for any shift as needed.

They also have a PLC/HMI Programmer role - In this role you will be responsible for designing, programming and implementing process control solutions for our facility using PLCs, HMIs, SCADAs, historians, and communication equipment. This is a Monday - Friday role, 5am to 3: 30 hourly role that is overtime eligible.

Base salary, great benefits package. 3% profit sharing. A 401k, that if you contribute 4% they give another 2%. Safety bonus of $100/ 2 times/year, and a $200 safety boot reimbursement.
