Electrical Technician

Job Description
The Electrical Technician is a 1st shift role, so you'll report to the Maintenance Manager (7am? 5pm, Monday - Friday). Your duty day will be spent performing preventative maintenance troubleshooting and work orders, on various equipment including electronic drive units, PLCs and HMIs.
A strong electric background will make you successful in this role. You'll need to be comfortable with up to 480v, running wires and conduit. An understanding of AC motors and drives, DC motors and drives, power distribution, control systems and PLCs that they will teach. The client is willing to pay for your electrical certifications.
A "can-do" attitude and not being afraid to cry (you'll be working on onion peeling equipment). This is a small, tight knit team--so you must be able to work by, with and through others at the facility.
